June 2013
I heard that in 2015 women will be allowed into Army Ranger units and in 2016 they’ll be allowed into Navy SEAL units, as well.
Not as support but as combat elements.
Are you fucking kidding me???
Obama, Hagel and the rest of them are trying to destroy us.
Um, can someone explain to me how this is a problem? If they can make it into the program under the current standards, why is this a problem? It will only be a problem if they lower the standards in order to admit women… which no one has mentioned thus far. Misogynist much?
I agree with Dmdoss. The inclusion of women isn’t an automatic detriment to the program. In fact, I know a few women who could fuck some shit up even more so than some of my male friends, so can we stop with this “women are gonna be the death of the military” bullshit? If they can make it in within the standards, what’s the damn problem?

This is a tough one because there have been so many great ones over the years, but I’m going to go old school NWA / WCW for this one and say the greatest feud ever was Sting vs. Ric Flair.
Yeah I know you have lots of others that could make the list, and you could probably knock out a few other great NWA feeds too (Dusty Rhodes and Harley Race any one?) but man did I totally get “up” for Ric vs. Sting. They had so many matches over the years and every single one of them was epic, but what kept you coming back for more was that little bit of hope that maybe this time, Flair would finally lose. What the NWA / WCW did that was picture perfect was letting Flair continue to win by any means necessary because that frustration kept you wanting to see the moment when his cheating fell back on his face. Intervention from Arn and Ole. Tosses over the top rope. Interference from others. Foreign objects in the ring. Hitting him with the belt. Whatever it took, Ric Flair came out on top (usually coated in blood).
I used to watch on TBS on Saturday night just begging for it to be the night that Flair finally got his comeuppance and it never really happened. Flair was the man, and Sting couldn’t get the job done for most of the time I was watching (the pre-Nitro era).
None of that withstanding, and looking back on it, even though the outcome of most of the matches was the same (with Flair cheating, bending the rules, or outright screwing Sting) the matches themselves were wars, and epic wars at that, and I would never change anything.
I always found it interesting that at the same time Rock was beginning his championship reign in the WWF (as The Ultimate Warriot), his former partner was struggling in an organization that simply would not pass the strap off of Flair’s waist. Ultimate Warrior pinned Hogan cleanly. Sting never really got that out of Flair, at least in the early days when they were a regular fixture on Saturday night on TBS.
So yeah, Flair and Sting. In spite of all the other great ones, this was the one that kept me coming back week after week.
This. 1000 times this.
