If Laws Can Control Gun Abuse…

Here’s a thought…  If laws could make people stop shooting other people by making it even harder to get guns, and if making tougher laws to stop gun crime would work, why not make tougher murder laws?

In other words, if passing a law can solve crime, then why not make murder a more heavily penalized crime?

You already know the answer to that question, and it’s that someone inclined to break the law will always break the law.  If you make illegal guns more illegal, they’re still illegal.

The reality is that gun control only serves to keep guns out of the hands of people who are not predisposed to using them illegally, as evidenced by the fact that they go through the process required to actually buy one which in some states is downright onerous.

Gun control serves one purpose and one purpose only: turning the populace into sitting ducks that have to rely on the police.

It’s a statist’s wet dream.
